During IPL 2023 auction, LSG grabbed 10 players in their squad. Their most expensive player was Nicholas Pooran, whom they picked for Rs. 16 crores. The franchise also picked Daniel Sams and Amit Mishra.

Although LSG could not win the title last season, they impressed everyone with their performance. They managed to outclass big champions like Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, and Kolkata Knight Riders, who have won multiple IPL trophies in the past. LSG will be on top of their confidence in IPL 2023.
